brain health;
we have more say
in this than most
people think
My interest in cognitive health began
through lived experience.
Since then, I've spent years learning about the things that influence how our brains age, training in the ReCODE 2.0 Protocol®, and working with people who want to understand what they can do to support their cognitive health.
Through this work, I've seen how much is within our control, and how, with the right insight and approach, we can change the course of
cognitive decline.
I co-founded NICA with Dr Carolyn Bond because we both felt there was a need for a different conversation around cognitive health.
One that starts earlier.
Our approach is whole-person and root-cause focused. We are both trained in Dr Dale Bredesen's ReCODE 2.0 Protocol®, which considers the many factors that can influence cognitive health - from metabolic health, inflammation and nutrition to sleep, movement, stress and lifestyle.
We take time to understand the individual picture: what may be contributing, what is worth investigating and where there is an opportunity to make a difference.
We've seen the difference this can make. People regain confidence, return to things they've stopped doing and, in some cases, feel they've got their life back.
A specialist cognitive clinic
“I was losing confidence and felt my capabilities slipping away. Meeting Nicole & Carolyn was the best thing ever.
They guided me with concern, understanding and at my own pace. They have discovered what is causing my problem and now I have improved noticeably and am getting my life back.I would recommend this protocol to anyone who feels they may have dementia."

You may have an MCI diagnosis, or simply know that something has changed and want to understand it.

You want to understand what you can influence rather than simply wait and see.
You've had an ApoE result
You know your ApoE status and want to understand what it means for you and what you can do with that information.
You've been looking into ReCODE
You've come across Dr Bredesen's work or Apollo Health and want to understand whether this approach might be relevant to you
What I’ve seen
The results of this work go beyond what we see on a test.
I’ve worked with people who have come to me worried about their memory, their future, or someone they love.
I've seen people regain confidence in themselves, start joining conversations again, return to things they'd stopped doing and feel more like themselves.
And sometimes, quite simply, get their life back.
